Maxim - Waterproof temperature Sensor DS18B20 (1m)

Presentation

The DS18B20 temperature sensor can be used with the 1-Wire MAXIM DALLAS bus. This model is a pre-wired, waterproof version of the DS18B20 sensor. Practical if you need to measure something further away or in wet conditions.

The DS18B20 is composed of a temperature sensor, an analogue - digital converter, an 8 byte memory zone and a 3 byte EEPROM.

The memory areas communicate with the DS18B20 in order to:

•    recover the converted temperatures
•    configure the converter
•    configure the minimum and maximum temperature values for the "thermostat" function
•    identify itself on the 1-Wire bus
