DoubleButton is a wireless emergency button with advanced protection against accidental pressures. The device communicates with a hub via the Jeweller encrypted radio protocol and is only compatible with Ajax security systems. The range of line-of-sight communication can reach 1300 meters. DoubleButton works from the pre-installed battery up to 5 years.

No accidental pressure

To trigger the alarm, you need to press both buttons. They are hard and separated by a plastic separator. This prevents false alarms when DoubleButton is stored in your bag or pocket.

No unnecessary intervention

DoubleButton supports confirmed alarms. This function implies that users must be informed about the pressure sequence that must be used in order to generate a confirmed alarm. This provides a 100% guarantee that an emergency alarm was triggered intentionally and only by an authorized user.

Guaranteed alarm reception

The emergency button transmits a signal to the hub via Jeweller, a two-way radio protocol that can communicate at a distance of 1300 meters. A flashing of the LED indicates the correct transmission of the alarm by DoubleButton. Jeweller encrypts the transmitted data and prevents hacking of the device. In case of interference, the Ajax system switches to a free radio frequency, and if the frequency is scrambled, it informs the users and the monitoring center.

By emitting an alarm signal, the emergency button can activate all or some specific sirens connected to the object. It can also perform automation scenarios: triggering a vaping machine, closing electronic locks, lowering roller shutters.
