The FIBARO CO Sensor is a compact and lightweight carbon monoxide (CO) detector. Wirelessly, it uses the Z-Wave+ radio protocol. It is battery powered so that it can be fixed simply on the wall of your choice. Its extreme sensitivity allows it to detect the presence of carbon monoxide early in order to avoid any risk of poisoning. Threats are signaled through a built-in siren, a colored LED, and the sending of notifications or Z-wave signals. The CO Sensor also has a built-in temperature sensor.

THE INVISIBLE KILLER

Carbon monoxide is invisible and odorless. This makes it especially dangerous for humans and animals.

Its presence results from incomplete combustion, regardless of the fuel used: wood, butane, coal, gasoline, fuel, natural gas, oil, propane.

Appliances capable of releasing carbon monoxide include:

• wood, coal, gas or oil boilers,
• water heaters and bath heaters,
• stoves and fireplaces,
• mobile auxiliary heaters,
• wood, charcoal, or gas stoves

SIMPLICITY SAVES LIVES

A good understanding of alerts allows anyone to assess the threat.

The green color signals a tiny amount of carbon monoxide, or its complete absence.

The orange color indicates a moderate concentration of carbon monoxide. This can affect your concentration or cause dizziness. Be sure to ventilate and then look for the source of the leak.

A red notification is dangerous enough to pose a deadly threat. Follow the rules for critical concentrations of carbon monoxide.

Even a low concentration of carbon monoxide can have uncomfortable effects on your health. The CO Sensor will be there to let you know when it's time to act.

AUTONOMOUS OPERATION

The carbon monoxide detector can be used on its own as a stand-alone sensor. It will be an effective and accurate way to protect those you love even if they do not have a home automation controller.

High levels of carbon monoxide can appear even when no one is at home. In these cases, having a home automation controller will allow you to be alerted wherever you are and you can then take the necessary measures.
