Akuvox A01 - 2-in-1 access control device (door controller and RFID and NFC reader)

The Akuvox A01 access control terminal includes a door controller and a RIFD reader within a single autonomous device, which helps to reduce costs. It comes with a card reader (125kHz and 13.5MHz) that is compatible with the majority of cards currently used. A01 is designed to provide greater flexibility and security than traditional access control systems.

Two devices in one

The A01 is both a card reader and a door controller, which helps building operators save a great deal of money. When A01 reads a card and either grants or refuses access, it also triggers the appropriate door lock mechanism.

Flexible authentication options

Users can choose between two A01 authentication options depending on their preferences and habits. Mobile access via NFC means that users do not need a card and only need to touch their device, which is more practical and secure.

Designed for ease of use

The A01 requires less wiring and installation thanks to its PoE support and Wiegand interface. It can easily be configured and managed using a web user interface.

Suitable for outdoor environments

The IP65 Standard and a wide range of operating temperatures from -20°C to +55°C protect the A01 against rain, heat, snow, dust and dirt.

Cloud access and subscription

Akuvox products can be used with or without a cloud. Access to the Akuvox cloud is through the SmartPlus smartphone app. For example, it will allow you to receive video calls, operate relays, generate temporary QR access codes, view visit history, trigger photo taking, etc.

If you purchase a video intercom and a screen from us at the same time, we offer you the cloud for life. Unlike the license you can purchase on our site, the version we offer does not include the possibility of making calls on fixed lines.

If you don't want a screen, you can choose to purchase a cloud license for a year or you can purchase a cloud license for life.

These licenses are valid for one residence/family, up to a total of 4 cloud users. Beyond 4 users, a subscription of 2 CHF per month will be required per additional user (for the 5th, 6th etc.).
