The WiFi 6 Pro Access Point (U6 Pro) is a high-performance dual-band WiFi 6 access point, ideal for home or office use. With its 5 GHz (4x4 MIMO) and 2.4 GHz (2x2 MIMO) bands, the U6 Pro is capable of a total throughput of 5.3 Gbps, enabling it to support more than 300 simultaneously connected clients while ensuring a seamless and reliable WLAN experience across your network. It can also isolate your guest access to ensure optimal security and speed. The U6 Pro also works with 4x4 MIMO with 160MHz channels to create high-capacity wireless uplinks and enable faster data transfer. It installs in minutes and is fully managed with the UniFi Network application.
Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO)
As part of the Wave 2 evolution of the 802.11ac standard, multi-user MIMO technology was introduced. Using this technology, this device can transmit data to multiple devices simultaneously. This allows your WLAN to provide faster throughput to any connected client. That means faster downloads and instant streaming for your devices.
802.11ac WLAN standard
The 802.11ac WLAN standard offers up to twice as much data as the older standards. On the one hand, this increase is achieved by expanding the transmission bandwidth. In addition, with 802.11ac, the number of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) streams can be increased to eight MIMO streams, while the 802.11n standard defines a maximum of four MIMO streams. Even large blocks of data such as videos and backups are no problem with this WLAN speed.
WLAN standard 802.11ax / WiFi-6
The 802.11ax standard is the new generation of the WLAN standard, which has been continuously developed over the years and once again introduces an innovation with this version also known as WLAN 6. The standard builds on the benefits of 802.11ac and extends them with efficiency, flexibility, and scalability. It enables higher speeds and capacities for next-generation applications, in both new and existing networks.
Ubiquiti Networks
Ubiquiti Networks is an American manufacturer of high-performance networking components. The goal ofUbiquiti is to provide state-of-the-art and easy-to-deploy communications solutions for a global customer base. The company was founded in 2005 and initially manufactured WLAN adapters for PCs. Later, the range was extended by devices such as WLAN routers, especially for outdoor use. Meanwhile, switches and surveillance cameras are also manufactured by the company. Products Ubiquiti generally convince with their superior performance, intelligent mechanical design and ease of use.
Easy installation with PoE
This network-enabled device is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE) via the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you don't need a power cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach locations or in places where many cables could interfere. You save installation costs and, if desired, you can increase the reliability of connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
