Range extenders extend the boundaries of the protected area and offer more freedom in the choice of location of security system devices. By connecting all or only part of the devices to ReX 2, you ensure the security and automation of a business center, estate, warehouse sets or production plant.

Five range extenders can operate in the system, increasing the coverage of broadcasting networks to 35^km2. Alarms and events are transmitted instantly, and the first photo is delivered to users and the monitoring center in just 13 seconds.

ReX 2 is compatible with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor motion detectors. After detecting a person, they take a series of photos, and make it possible to assess a situation on the object. To rid users of concerns and security companies of unnecessary patrol mobilizations.

We have equipped ReX 2 with four antennas and support for two specialized radio protocols: Jeweler and Wings, to ensure reliable communications. Jeweller is used to transmit events and alarms, Wings ensures batch transmission of images. Two-way radio communication Ajax uses frames to synchronize device communication sessions, authentication to prevent tampering, and encryption for protection against data theft.

The next major update of OS Malevich will cover business centers with their underground parking lots, multi-cell metal sheds, and warehouse sets of several large buildings with a single Ajax system. With the update of the operating system, ReX 2 will be able to connect to the control panel not only by radio, but also via Ethernet using the cable as the only or second communication channel.

Increased security system

ReX 2 works as an ultra-smart control panel: it connects devices into a standalone group and supports control if needed. Thanks to the automatic adjustment of signal strength and frame synchronization, regardless of the number of devices in the system connected to ReX 2, the reliability of communication remains unchanged. If for some reason radio communication with the plant is interrupted, a detector transmits an alarm to ReX 2 which triggers a siren to draw attention to the incident and scare away the burglar.

ReX 2 is protected against attacks at the software and hardware levels. It runs on the OS Malevich operating system, which is immune to viruses. All data transmitted by the range extender is encrypted. Thanks to the built-in battery backup, a sudden power outage on site will not be a problem.

Hassle-free installation

The reX 2 connection and configuration process saves the installation engineer maximum time. To add a range extender to the system, simply scan its QR code with the Ajax app, give it a name and a part. The device is also set up in the app in real time.
