U6-LR is a high-performance access point that uses advanced WiFi 6 technology to ensure high-performance wireless coverage of enterprise environments. It provides a total radio throughput of up to 3.0 Gbps at 5 GHz (4x4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA) and 2.4 GHz 4x4 MIMO. The U6-LR fits perfectly into any environment and can be mounted both indoors and outdoors (protection class IP54).

WLAN 802.11ax / WiFi-6 standard

The 802.11ax standard is the new generation of the WLAN standard, which has been continuously developed over the years and once again introduces an innovation with this version also known as WLAN 6. The standard builds on the benefits of 802.11ac and extends them with efficiency, flexibility and scalability. It enables higher speeds and capabilities for next-generation applications in both new and existing networks, while the 802.11n standard defines a maximum of four MIMO streams. Even large blocks of data such as videos and backups are no problem with this WLAN speed.

Support Multi-SSID

Multi-SSID allows you to operate multiple wireless network zones with different names and access rights. One possibility would be to set up separate network segments for each department or, for example, to operate Smart Home and IoT devices in separate areas. This means that visitors' smartphones already have no access to PCs containing confidential data on the network. If you are expanding your wireless network with additional access points, make sure that the new APs support at least as many SSIDs per wireless module as your WLAN router/controller.

Easy installation thanks to PoE

This network-enabled device is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE) via the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you don't need a power cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach places or in places where many cables could interfere. You save installation costs and, if you wish, you can increase the reliability of connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
