Popp - Z-Wave+ Door Opener controller incl. strike lock

This dry contact relay is perfectly suited to opening doors, as well as to any other loads which are controllable via dry contacts.

You can integrate the front door of your house into your home automation system with the first door opening module controlled by Z-Wave.

With this little device, you can open the front door of your house from a Z-Wave remote control or from your smartphone. It can be very useful, for example, when you are out and your children come home without their keys.

The device complements the existing electric strike, communicates with the Z-Wave controller and allows the door to be opened remotely. So you can get into your home without using a key.

It can also be used in other contexts. The relay is capable of switching a maximum voltage of 24V / 2A. 

The relay has an input for adding external controls (by button for example) and its relay has one connector which is normally open and one which is normally closed. 

This product is made up of 2 elements: a control module and an electronic strike plate for the door lock. If your home does not already have electronic door control, intercom or other module, this pack makes it very easy to upgrade and make life that little bit easier. The electronic strike plate needs to be installed in your existing lock door. You can then connect the control module to the electronic strike plate.

The module can be powered in several ways:

• 8 to 12 VAC AC transformer
• 8 to 24 VDC DC transformer
• 9V block battery. 

This device is a secure Z-Wave+ accessory and can be used in a wireless Z-Wave network with other certified accessories. It supports secure communication if the central controller supports this function.
