DualCurtain Outdoor is a wireless bidirectional motion sensor of the exterior curtain type whose detection range is adjustable up to 30 meters. It has anti-camouflage protection and ignores animals if it is configured and installed correctly.

DualCurtain Outdoor monitors the perimeter of the room to be protected, without disturbing people inside. Two independent optical systems with narrow detection fields and adjustable parameters allow you to accurately define a detection area over a distance of 30 m, while avoiding false alarms. The unique ELSA program reacts in case of intrusion, and filters triggers such as environmental interference and pets.
State-of-the-art technology
The side faces of the detector are equipped with two narrow-field optical systems, each equipped with two PIR sensors. Thanks to the thermal compensation,the detection is always accurate. Sensor signals are analyzed by our new ELSA digital algorithm. In the event that two sensors of the same optical system simultaneously pick up human movement, the detector activates an alarm.
Efficiency in close areas
DualCurtain Outdoor has a technology to extend the protected area and that is unique for an outdoor curtain motion detector. When close-up area detection is enabled, the detector's top PIR sensor has an additional narrow detection field directed at an angle of 40 degrees downwards from the main field. This function allows both sensors to detect the movements of a person crossing the protected perimeter near the detector. This specificity solves the problem of blind spots that this type of detector encounters in general.
Close-up area detection has been designed to protect windows and other entrance areas that animals do not have access to. The proximity of detection field vectors significantly reduces the effectiveness of immunity to pets.
A case. Two independent detectors
The detection distance of the two optical systems can be adjusted independently. You can therefore precisely define the perimeter to be protected by DualCurtain Outdoor, and avoid false alarms caused by a bush agitated by the wind or passers-by on a sidewalk. To prevent the detection field from being obstructed by a column or gutter on the façade, optical systems can be reoriented vertically. You can adjust the sensitivity, or disable one of the optical systems in the application.
Resists sabotage
It is impossible to blind or disable DualCurtain Outdoor without reporting, even if the system is disarmed. The optical systems of the detector are reinforced by advanced anti-masking sensors that react if the lenses are obstructed by an obstacle, painted or covered. Thanks to the anti-sabotage system, the device cannot be removed from its support without an alarm being triggered. And even if the device is destroyed, the hub detects the loss of connection in less than a minute, and transfers the information to the monitoring center and users.
Exceptional autonomy
Thanks to its low power consumption, DualCurtain Outdoor can work for years with pre-installed batteries. The monitoring centre and users are informed in advance if the batteries of the device need to be replaced.
Simplified installation
The simplicity of connecting and configuring DualCurtain Outdoor saves installers time. To add a detector to the system simply scan the QR code with the application Ajax, to assign it a name and a part. Set up the device in the app in real time while testing detection areas and communication. If necessary, the detector can be deactivated or its system settings can be reconfigured remotely, without going to the site.
