Turn your computer or your Raspberry into a Z-Wave controller
The UZB1 dongle connects a PC equipped with a USB port to your Z-Wave wireless network to control the various devices of your smart home.
By plugging the dongle into your PC's USB port, the operating system will add a virtual serial port that can be used by the dedicated software to connect to the Z-Wave network, control and parameter the different appliances, etc.
This UZB1 dongle includes all necessary communication functions, but the functions actually available will depend on the software used by the computer. It is compatible with all software using Sigma Designs API Z-Wave, such as HomeSeer or mControl.
The UZB1 controller can also be used with Raspberry Pi B and Raspberry Pi B+ boards.
