Control
Control your light comfortably via home automation, with Philips Hue (needs updating), Amazon Alexa or other compatible Zigbee systems, or in the classic way via the push button.
Controlling other lights
By default, the Kobold only controls the directly connected light. In interaction with the Phoscon, ConBee II and RaspBee II gateways, the Kobold can also control other dimmable Zigbee 3.0 lights.
Connecting the push button
The optional push button allows you to control the connected bulb via the push-dimming function:
- A short press of the button alternately on/off.
- A long press of the button alternately increases/decreases the light intensity.
Upgrade
The Kobold is installed in the flush-mounting box behind the existing push button.
Reusing existing button caches keeps the usual look.
Long signal range
Thanks to the integrated signal amplifier, it is possible to cover 2 to 3 rooms or floors by radio, depending on the construction conditions.
As a Zigbee repeater, devices further away are connected by the Zigbee mesh network and control signals are transmitted.
