FIBARO smoke sensor - Z-wave version with terminal block for power supply and potential free output

Featuring soft lines, a polished surface and a small size, the FIBARO Smoke Sensor will allow you to be alerted to a threat with multi-color RGB LEDs and a built-in siren.

Some materials burn without smoking. That is why the FGSS-001 is equipped with a temperature sensor. If the amount of smoke is not enough to trigger the alarm, the device will still be able to detect a threat by detecting a rapid change in temperature caused by the fire.

You can connect the sensor to a 12 or 24 VDC power supply if you wish. Or leave it in battery mode and enjoy up to 3 years of uninterrupted operation.

In addition to Z-Wave, this sensor can also be connected by wires to a wired alarm system.

A "black box" integrated into the smoke sensor records information on smoke and temperature levels. Whether the alarm system is armed or not, the sensor monitors the smoke level and sends information to the main controller periodically. Now you are able to detect even the smallest amount of cigarette smoke.

Be careful, unlike the FGSD-002, this product is a sensor and not a detector. It is therefore not autonomous and must be associated with a Z-Wave controller to operate.
