Miniaturized CO2 sensor
CO2 is a key indicator of indoor air quality (IAQ), as high levels compromise cognitive performance and human well-being. The SCD4x enables intelligent ventilation systems to regulate ventilation in the most energy-efficient and human-friendly manner.
The miniaturized CO2 sensors SCD4x from Sensirion are CO2 and RH/T sensors that fit into a space of just one cubic centimeter. These CO2 sensors offer a supply voltage range of 2.4 V to 5.5 V, a fully calibrated digital I2C output, and a nominal accuracy of ± (30 ppm + 3 % MV). Compared to the SCD30, the SCD4x footprint has been miniaturized by a factor of 5, resulting in dimensions of only 10.1 mm x 10.1 mm x 6.5 mm. By using the photoacoustic NDIR detection principle, the dimensions of the optical cavity are significantly reduced without compromising sensor performance. CO2 sensor compliant with RESET, WELL, Title 24, ASHRAE 62.1 construction standards. The SCD4x series includes a high-quality temperature and humidity sensor that provides two additional sensor outputs. The miniaturized CO2 sensors SCD4x from Sensirion are ideal for detection markets such as IoT, automotive, HVAC, home appliances, and consumer goods.
