With soft lines, a polished surface and small size, this Fibaro Smoke Sensor is as attractive as it is practical and will warn you of any discovered threat with its multicolour RGB LED diode and built-in siren.

Certain materials can burn without producing smoke. That's why the FGSS-001 is fitted with a temperature sensor. If the amount of smoke is not sufficient to trigger the alarm, the unit will still be able to detect a threat by detecting the rapid change in temperature caused by the fire. 

You can connect the sensor to a 12 or 24 VDC power supply, or leave it in battery mode and enjoy up to 3 years of uninterrupted operation.

In addition to Z-Wave, this sensor can also be connected by wire to a wired alarm system. 

A 'black box' integrated into the smoke sensor records information concerning the levels of smoke and temperature. Whether the alarm is armed or not, the sensor monitors the level of smoke and periodically sends information to the primary controller. Now, you can to detect even the smallest amount of cigarette smoke.

Important: unlike the FGSD-002, this product is a sensor and not a detector. Therefore, it is not autonomous and must be associated with a Z-Wave controller in order to work.
