PRESENTATION

This sensor informs whether a garage door is open or closed by detecting the horizontal or vertical position of the door. It needs to be fitted to the door in such a way that it can give an order on any change of position, vertically or horizontally. It can be fitted using screws or double-sided adhesive. The device is battery-powered and is consequently in sleep mode unless an action is detected.

After a programmable sleep time the device will wake up and send a status report. The batteries can be changed without unscrewing the device from the door or frame.

When the batteries need to be replaced a visual warning is displayed on the device itself and a warning is sent to the Z-Wave controller. The device sends information to a controller or any other associated Z-Wave device. Up to 5 devices can be piloted from the ZG8101. Two terminals allow the connection of an external dry contact in parallel to the position sensor. The powerful Lithium CR123 battery has a life of 3 to 5 years under normal operating conditions.

Ok, aber mit Optimierungspotentzial

Habe mir dieses Teil gekauft um eben meiner Steuerung eine Rückmeldung über den Zustand des Garagentors zu vermitteln. Hatte Bedenken wegen der Reichweite weil es nur den z-wave und nicht den z-wave+ Standard anbietet. Hat sich in meinem Fall als problemlos erwiesen und es sind doch ein paar Meter und Wände dazwischen. Der Sensor macht eigentlich einen robusten Eindruck und hätte Sinn gemacht. Ich kann ihn dennoch nicht einsetzen, da er für die Glieder meines Garagentors einfach zu gross ist, bzw. in der vertikalen Dimension seines Gehäuses. Beim Lauf der Torglieder über den Schienenbogen wird er abgeworfen aufgrund der Platzverhältnisse. Er könnte also durchaus noch etwas kleiner dimensioniert sein. Für grobgliedrige Garagentore (oder feste Kipptore) sollte es aber kein Problem darstellen.

Très bon produit

Facile à installer et à configurer.
Fonctionne très bien sous HC2.

Très réactif

A peine la porte du garage ouverte ou fermée que la notification arrive sur l'application.
Attention à bien le mettre au sommet de la porte comme ça le capteur sera en position horizontale en premier.
Sinon un peu de peine à ce qu'il soit reconnu par la VeraBox au travers d'autres modules ZWave car le capteur n'est pas proche de ma box.
