The FGDW-002 from Fibaro is a Z-wave PLUS window/door opening sensor fitted with a temperator sensor.This new version is more compact than the previous one.
Multifunction sensor to detect door and window opening
The FIBARO Door/Window Sensor 2 sensor combines the features of two products. It detects any opening/closing and measures room temperature. It also offers double protection against tampering and removal.
The Door/Window Sensor 2 is even smaller than the previous version. It can be up-dated over the air and is available in 7 colours.
Window/door opening sensor
FIBARO Door/Window Sensor 2 sensor is simple to install on any type of door or window including garage doors, gate, electric blind and many more. It will ensure you are kept informed, in real time, of the current state of any door or window, etc.
Temperature sensor
Check the temperature throughout the House. The new FIBARO sensor also measures temperature thanks to its built-in sensor.
Tamper protection
For security reasons the FIBARO Door/Window Sensor 2 is protected against being opened and being removed.
Quick and simple to install
The FIBARO Door/Window Sensor 2 sensor can be installed anywhere in the home thanks to the Wireless Z-Wave protocol, double-sided adhesive tape and built-in battery.

Gut und empfehlenswert
Der Sensor ist im Vergleich mit anderen Produkten sehr klein ausgefallen, was auch der Grund für den Erwerb bei mir war. Lässt sich gut montieren und der Sensor ist ziemlich tolerant bezüglich des Winkels und des Abstands des Magneten. Das war bei mit tatsächlich eine Fragestellung, da der Fensterrahmen nicht bündig zum Fenster ist und da ein kleiner Absatz besteht. Positiv ist zudem dass man mit dem Temperatursensor auch gleich noch eine zweite nützliche Funktion mit dazu bekommt. Nicht ganz über alle Zweifel erhaben scheint mir der Klebstoff für die Befestigung zu sein. Es würde mich nicht erstaunen, wenn je nach Belastung, Temperatur bzw. Umgebungsbedingungen mal ab und zu sich ein Sensor selbständig macht.

Smaller than its predecessor
Smaller yet still sporting great features. I am just having hard time including these in my zwave network 50% of the time :-/

Besser als der vorigen Version
Der Sensor funktioniert besser als der vorigen Version. Es hat auch ein Temperatur sensor dabei.
Die Lieferung war auch sehr schnell.
