The Water Sensor 6 protects your home from leaks and flooding in the easiest way. You put it down, set it and forget it. The Dock is the support for the Water Sensor 6. It is a professional tool that significantly improves the most important functions of the Water Sensor 6. With the Dock and Water Sensor 6 combined, your home is protected by the most advanced Z-Wave flood sensor available.

Monitor 2 zones

Most water leak sensors allow you to monitor only one area. The Dock improves the Water Sensor 6 so that it can monitor 2 distinct areas using point sensors. Each sensor is a probe that can monitor surfaces, including floors, up to 1 meter from the Dock installation location. Only probes 0.25cm thick are perfect for remote monitoring and for monitoring in exceptionally narrow and hard-to-reach areas.

Monitor an entire area

If you can be sure that a leak will occur, you cannot know where it will take place. This is especially true when it comes to water tanks and boilers. Although they are fleeing, it is impossible to know where they are going to flee from. The Dock solves this. Simply connect a lasso sensor and encircle an object completely. Wherever the leak occurs, the Water Sensor will detect it.

Power optimization

The Dock can be powered on mains. Just plug it into a power outlet using the supplied USB cable and a USB 5VDC adapter, 0.5A; a standard smartphone charger. This means that the Water Sensor 6 no longer has to depend on batteries; you don't even need to use them. But if you do, the battery of the Water Sensor 6 will be used as a backup battery that offers the same life as the sensor itself: 2 years. Plenty of time to restore power to the Dock.

Radio optimization

The Water Sensor 6 uses Gen5 and Z-Wave Plus technologies for wireless communication. It is optimized to communicate more than 150 meters in an open space. As the Z-Wave is a low-power signal, its wireless range can be affected by metal objects such as washing machines and refrigerators.

If you install it near the metal, the Dock allows you to optimize Z-Wave wireless performance. Use it to install Water Sensor 6 away from metal objects while monitoring the desired areas.
