Water Sensor 6 changes this, using Z-Wave Plus technology to silently monitor risk areas of your home, and taking action when the worst happens.

	Leaks and cracks. The Water Sensor 6 can detect tiny amounts of water – as little as 0.5mm of water. This makes it your first line of defense against damaged plumbing.
	flooding. Whether it's a small or large quantity, the Water Sensor 6 is perfect to protect you from floods that you can anticipate, such as pumps and basements.
	overflow. Accidents do occur, but this does not make the damage caused by forgotten faucets any less expensive. The Water Sensor 6 can alert you to water that you forgot to cut before it's too late.

The Water Sensor 6 not only monitors when a pipe has burst or when there are leaks, it can take protective measures to limit the amount of damage caused.

Using the power of the Z-Wave, you can pair the Water Sensor 6 with other Z-Wave devices so that when the worst happens, the Water Sensor 6 sends alerts to turn off electricity and water valves to protect your home and loved ones.

	Automatically close the water valves. In case of a pipe explosion, use the Water Sensor 6 to turn off the electronic water valves via Z-Wave.
	Turn on the empty pumps cellar. When water is detected, activate the empty cellar pumps thanks to your home automation box and Z-Wave switches.
	Automatic power off. Water and electricity do not mix. Protect your home and family by turning off the electronics in the event of a leak or flood.

Leaks often occur in the worst places. Behind things, under things, and in all these hard-to-see places, it means you don't see the leak until it's too late.

That is why the Water Sensor 6 is so thin - it is only 3.8 cm wide and 2.4 cm high. This means that the Water Sensor 6 will adapt and blend into every place where you need it, whether it's a hard-to-reach space or a place where it can be seen.

The Water Sensor 6 is part of Aeotec's Z-Wave smart range. It was designed to protect your home and it was also designed to make your home smarter. Four separate sensors are integrated into each Water Sensor 6.

Each of these sensors can be used to create smart home control scenarios via your Z-Wave home automation controller or box, including underfloor heating management and HVAC management control.

	Water sensor. 4 gold-tipped probes actively monitor leaks and drops.
	Tilt sensor. Whether by water or by a person, the Water Sensor 6 tilt sensor will issue a tilt alert.
	Vibration sensor. Sabotage and emergency events are confirmed by an algorithm that includes vibration detection.
	Temperature sensor. Designed for heating management, an integrated temperature sensor can monitor temperatures between -20ºC and 100ºC.
