The dry contact transmitter is designed to detect any change of status in any equipment featuring a potential free dry contact output, normally open (preferably) or normally closed.
This transmitter allows the connection of any device with an on/off status report to the EnOcean protocol where cable connections are neither advisable nor possible.
The sensor is equipped with a crimp connector (insulation displacement) and can be unplugged. When the dry contact changes status (from open to close and vice versa), a radio signal is immediately sent. Moreover, a message is sent approximately every 15 minutes.
The device is self-powered. Its power is generated by a solar cell which requires no maintenance to function. The internal charger enables the storage of power and guarantees full functionality even in pitch darkness.
