It will inform you in the event of flood or at the time of a sharp increase or decrease in temperature. Its neat design and compact size mean you will easily find a place for it in your home, in order to ensure the safety of the whole family.

This detector can be powered by a battery or by a 12 or 24 VDC external power supply. When it is powered by an external source, the battery is used as emergency power supply. In this configuration, the detector also acts as a Z-wave signal repeater.

Any abnormal event will be transmitted to the equipment of your Z-Wave network, or to any wired alarm system, via its NF dry contact output. The detector's integrated acoustic alarm and LED light will simply and quickly inform you in the event of an anomaly. The LED indicator also enables a visual indication of the quality of the Z-Wave network to be provided.

But that is not all - the Fibaro flood detector has a tilt sensor to inform you if the sensor is moved. 

The FGFS-101-zw5 is watertight and floats on the surface of the water. It can be placed on the ground but can also be installed on a wall by using a wired probe.
