Fibaro is constantly innovating by proposing Z-Wave peripheral devices with an exemplary design and with advanced functionalities. This flood detector is no exception.
It will inform you in the event of flood or at the time of a sharp increase or decrease in temperature. Its neat design and compact size mean you will easily find a place for it in your home, in order to ensure the safety of the whole family.
This detector can be powered by a battery or by a 12 or 24 VDC external power supply. When it is powered by an external source, the battery is used as emergency power supply. In this configuration, the detector also acts as a Z-wave signal repeater.
Any abnormal event will be transmitted to the equipment of your Z-Wave network, or to any wired alarm system, via its NF dry contact output. The detector's integrated acoustic alarm and LED light will simply and quickly inform you in the event of an anomaly. The LED indicator also enables a visual indication of the quality of the Z-Wave network to be provided.
But that is not all - the Fibaro flood detector has a tilt sensor to inform you if the sensor is moved.
The FGFS-101-zw5 is watertight and floats on the surface of the water. It can be placed on the ground but can also be installed on a wall by using a wired probe.

Comme tous les modules Fibaro, l'intégration avec la HC2 est parfaite.
Possible de l'alimenter avec une pile ou avec une alimentation externe 12 ou 24 VDC.
Attention tout de même si son emplacement en dans la buanderie dans un sous-sol non chauffé, la pile ne tient pas aussi longtemps que les deux ans annoncé.

Alerte innondation
Il est rassurant de disposer d'un tel capteur, à placer proche d'une source potentielle d’inondation (sous un évier, une machine à laver, etc.)
Plus vite on est averti et moins les dégâts seront importants.

détecteur d'inondation simple à installer
J'avoue que je suis fan des produits Fibaro vu que c'est le troisième que j'ajoute à mon installation domotique. Facile à inclure dans mon système et avec un design sympa le détecteur a été installé en un éclair. Pas de vissage cette fois vu que je l'ai juste posé derrière ma machine à laver le linge dans la buanderie. Depuis mon Dashboard, Je peux aussi facilement surveiller la température de la pièce en cas de problème de chauffage ou autre.
