Presentation
The Remotec ZXT-120 is a Z-Wave to IR converter to control your air-conditioning. It works with any Z-Wave compatible controller by translating the Z-Wave protocol thermostat commands to IR code. The user can select the IR code from the ZXT-120 built-in code library, or by using the learning function via the controller's user interface (UI).
The ZXT-120 has a built-in temperature sensor that informs the controller of the ambient room temperature.
It includes five integrated infra-red emitters that provide 5-directional surround coverage (hemispherical coverage) and a programmable power level (high or low) for the external IR emitter to avoid saturating the IR receivers.
